Creating an Email Template

About Templates

Email Templates can be managed by selecting  "Email Templates" from the Setup menu. Email templates are text based, can use our merge tags, but are not allowed to contain any html attributes. 

Creating a Template

  1. Click "New Template"
  2. Fill in the details of your template. Merge tags can be used in the Subject or Content body. 
    1. Name
    2. Subject
    3. Content (or Body of the email)
  3. Set the template as "Published" / "Active" if it's ready for use.
  4. If you have an email account connected, you can Send a preview.
  5. Click "Create Email Template" when complete

Editing a Template

  1. Click on the Template Name to edit the desired template.

  2. Click "Save Email Template" when complete, or you can also Send a Preview.


Email Template permissions

Users require the email permission, and a linked external account to be able to send emails from templates. The following users are allowed to create templates:

User Type Access
Operations User Create / Manage Templates
